We would like to inform you of an exciting step forward for our independent practice that will take place January 1, 2025. We have decided to partner with Answer Health for insurance contracting.
First, we want to assure you that we plan to remain an independent practice, providing high quality care to our local community in the same way we do now. This new partnership gives us access to tools and programs that will allow us to provide the highest quality care.
Our working with Answer Health Network functions in a similar way to our partnership with The Lakeland Care Network until now. We are not being bought out or purchased. We want to reassure you that this change will not affect you and that you will still be able to see us, your own specialist, and be admitted locally. Our referral process will stay the same as well. Answer Health is a network that partners only with private physician owned practices and will help us stay independent as well as grow and cope with the rising cost of supplies and vaccines
Our practice will continue to participate with the same insurance plans and we will continue to provide care for all our patients. We will continue to file your insurance claims and accept payments directly from carriers. We will also use the same electronic medical records (EPIC) and utilize MyChart in the way we do now.
In short, nothing noticeable should change about our patient-provider interactions.
Answer Health is the largest network of independent private practice physicians in Western Michigan. Physicians and providers join Answer Health to access best-in-class performance and practice support services.
